Rubén López, Juan Pablo Hess, Rodrigo Hernández and Oriane Marraud des Grottes are integrated with the aim of strengthening the audit, tax, consulting and outsourcing areas.
After 10 years in Chile, Mazars -an audit firm of European origin present throughout Latin America- is pleased to welcome four new leaders who will be joining its management team: Rubén López and Juan Pablo Hess, both former Assurance partners of EY Chile, Rodrigo Hernández, former Tax partner of PwC Chile and Oriane Marraud des Grottes, former General Manager of Newrest in Chile.
The arrival of the four professionals -which took place on September 1- is aimed at strengthening the audit, tax, consulting and outsourcing services, with a focus on developing large and medium-sized enterprises in various sectors of the economy. Currently, the Mazars office in Chile counts 150 professionals, led by Damien de La Panouse.
"Our differentiator is our talent management strategy," explains Damien de La Panouse, Managing Partner of Mazars in Chile. "We live in an economy that is increasingly complex, so we need to be prepared to our utmost to accompany our clients in all the stages of their development. That is why we put a great emphasis on the recruitment of outstanding professionals, and this is achieved through long-term relationships with the best local and global universities. In addition, it is important to retain the best talent in order to build long-lasting privileged relationships with our clients."
The new partners

He was a member of the Executive Committee of EY and leader of Assurance for more than 10 years. He has more than 30 years of professional experience. He joined Mazars as a Lead Partner. "My decision to join Mazars is based, among other things, on the real concern the firm has for the quality of the professionals it recruits and their constant training, which allows it to serve clients in Chile and around the world with the same level of excellence," he says.
Juan Pablo Hess joins the firm as Lead Partner for Accounting and Outsourcing. Commercial Engineer from the Catholic University and Certified in Company Direction from the IOD of London, he was a partner of EY for 25 years in different positions.
